Rohnert Park

Rohnert Park is a city located in Sonoma County, California. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 42,236. It was an early planned city modeled directly after Levittown, New York and Levittown, Pennsylvania.

The developers of Rohnert Park often advertised it as "A country club for the middle class."

To the dismay of Rohnert Park's founding developers, Rohnert Park along with the Sonoma region is currently undergoing a serious housing crisis with real estate prices skyrocketing above the national value. This is keeping many working class to upper middle class families from being able to attain affordable housing.
